Short Bio:
Residing in Austin, Texas, DSTRY is the moniker of Dylan Storey. Using analog synths and sequencers, DSTRY creates lush, dreamy landscapes, and pairs it with home-made percussion samples. The result is a juxtaposition of electronic and organic elements that provide the backdrop for melancholic (sometimes robotic) vocal melodies. Formerly a guitarist for the band Equals, Dylan spent time after the demise of the band honing his skills as a recording engineer and producer. This is his freshman release.
